‘Working to end violence’ It’s a grandiose, unrealistic and utopian goal. Its very worthwhile to work to reduce violence , minimise its effects or help those affected by violence recover but to ‘end violence’. That will never happen and as with all utopias if pursued to the exclusion of all other consideration something that would lead to great harm. Its a bad idea to set an unrealistic unachievable goal.
‘End violence against women’ Why women in particular? Its not a bad thing in itself but its odd that the goal is to reduce violence against women when women are subject to less violence than any other group, less than girls far less than boys and men. It feels uncomfortable to seek to aid only those most advantaged and ignore those who suffer to a greater extent.
1. Jess Phillips agrees “facilitators” of grooming gangs must be held to account.
2. She admits she knew about the abuse for 14 years.
3. The evidence confirms that she repeatedly resisted a national inquiry.
4. And when forced to agree to one, manipulated survivors before appointing a Labour Party peer to chair it.
5. Now Phillips has led in the launching of a government strategy that targets 11 year old White boys for misogyny and describes this as a national emergency. Which begs the question, what is the racially motivated, industrial scale gang rape of over 100,000 little White girls by predominantly Pakistani men?
Is Jess Phillips describing herself when using the term facilitator? Or is she something even worse?

I’m on day 2 with one subscriber so don’t feel bad we all starting from somewhere 🤍
At this point, it’s fair to assume all men are rapists until proven innocent.
